Norfolk Fishing Charter

Norfolk Fishing Charter

Through every season on Finao Sportfishing’s Norfolk fishing charter we target a variety of different fish species. With Norfolk being located along the Southern Chesapeake Bay we have the option to fish the Atlantic Ocean, the Chesapeake Bay, and the York River. Our marina Vinings Landing Marina is less than a mile from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Being so close to all locations on our Norfolk fishing charter it is less driving and more time fishing.

The Bay is known for some of the worlds best fishing. We have world wide known species like Striped bass, Cobia, Spade fish, Black Drum, Tautog, and Red Drum. Many of these fish migrate into the Bay and into the York River to spawn annually. On our Norfolk fishing charter we do a variety of different styles of fishing. We use lures like Bucktails, Guides Secret plugs, Storm Shads, Gulp, and many others. We also use a variety of live baits when targeting our bigger species such as Menhaden, Spot, Mullet, Croaker, Crabs, and Eels.

On your Norfolk fishing charter you will get hands on experience. Not only will you be catching fish but you will get to learn how to do different fishing techniques. On Finao Sportfishing we do Chumming, Casting lures, Jigging, Sight Casting, Bobber fishing, and Trolling. Each of these techniques are used for a different species to mimic the current bait fish in our Virginia waters. Most of your Norfolk fishing charter will be along the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel and Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. Your experience on board with Finao Sportfishing will be both fishing and seeing memorable sight seeing locations. The next time you are looking for a memorable and exciting day of fishing on the Chesapeake Bay book with Finao Sportfishing!
